Assaduddin Owaisi, a Hyderabad-based Lok Sabha member and the president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), neglected to show up in court for a Rs 100 crore defamation action brought by Heera Group for a conspiracy and misinformation campaign against the company. Another defamation lawsuit for Rs 10 crore has been filed by the organisation against Shahbaz Khan, another AIMIM leader. The AIMIM unsuccessfully requested that the matter be dismissed before the court.
In order to keep the faith Heera Group investors Dr.Nowhera Shaik and Heera Group of Companies launched a defamation case of Ra 10 crore against Shahbaz Ahmad Khan and Rs 100 crore defamation case against Assadudin Owaisi. Both Hyderabad MP and AIMIM Leader Assadudin Owaisi and Mr. Shahbaz Ahmad Khan were represented by their respective lawyer in the city civil court. And the court had asked Assadudin Owaisi to appear on September 26, 2022 and Mr. Shahbaz Ahmad Khan to appear on October 18, 2022 in court.
Heera Group Founder and CEO Dr.Nowhera Shaik said, “In an earlier occasion, we successfully pleaded before the Honorable Supreme Court through our lawyers that in a planned conspiracy against the Heera Group, misinformation campaign is being unleashed by these people with an intention of extorting money under their political game plan.” She also said, “This is not the fight of an individual but a battle against a conspiracy towards a prestigious institution. The days are not far when these people will surrender before the court and would be selling their properties to pay for the defamation of Rs 100 crore and Rs 10 crore. One of the conspirators is out of the country but soon law will catch up with him soon.”
