Assadudin Owaisi Failed to appear in the City Civil Court

Assaduddin Owaisi, a Hyderabad-based Lok Sabha member and the president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), declined to show up in court for a Rs 100 crore defamation action brought by Heera Group for a conspiracy and misinformation campaign against the company. Another defamation lawsuit for Rs 10 crore has been filed by the organisation against Shahbaz Khan, another AIMIM leader. The AIMIM unsuccessfully requested that the matter be dismissed before the court.

Heera Group CEO Dr. Nowhera Shaik took the initiative to make an appearance before the court and mark the document that was presented as evidence against these two leaders.AIMIM leader Shahbaz Khan and Hyderabad MP Assaduddin Owaisi appeared at the City Civil Court with the assistance of their respective attorneys. Assaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, has been ordered by the court to appear before it on September 26, 2022. On October 18, 2022, Shahbaz Khan has been asked to appear.

The respondent, Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan, is also a key witness in a double homicide case, and as a result, he is staying in hiding in America. He is not reachable in India despite being the principal representative of Heera Group Complainant Investors. In the future, if the decision in the defamation litigation is in favour of Heera Group, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi and Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan will each be required to pay damages. If Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi is proven guilty in front of an honourable court, he would suffer a loss or deformity as a result of Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed Khan’s creation of the entire issue.
