By-poll election results today live 2021 on Saturday, October 30, voting for by-elections in three Lok Sabha seats began – Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa, and Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi. As completed voting in 29 Assembly constituencies throughout 13 states.

After the deaths of their MPs, all three Lok Sabha seats became vacant. Ramswaroop Sharma, a Mandi MP, and Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan, a Khandwa MP, died in March. While Dadar MP Mohan Delkar allegedly committed himself in February.

On Saturday, voters in West Bengal’s Dinhata, Santipur, Khardaha, and Gosaba went to the polls. Given the high number of defections in West Bengal, the election for Santipur and Dinhata will test if the BJP can maintain its hold on both seats. Dinhata had 47.83 percent voter participation till 1 p.m., according to Election Commission data. While Santipur, Khardaha, and Gosaba had 48 %, 36.70 %, and 52.19 %, respectively.

The Trinamool Congress also placed Sovadeb Chattopadhyay, a state minister who won the Assembly polls from Bhabanipur. But resigned after Mamata Banerjee’s loss, allowing her to keep her job as Chief Minister.

According to PTI, the Jubbal-Kotkhai Legislative seat in Himachal had a voter participation of nearly 27% until noon. Whereas the Mandi Lok Sabha had a participation of 19%. On Saturday, voter participation of 9.77 % was registered in the Sindgi and Hanagal constituencies, according to the Chief Election Director of Karnataka. Badvel in Andhra Pradesh will vote today, as will by-elections in Haryana’s Ellenabad, Maharashtra’s Deglur, Mizoram’s Tuirial, and Telangana’s Huzurabad.
