NFT the new wave of making money

Non-Fungible Token is an acronym for NFT.A “fungible” item may be exchanged for another of the same value, such as a $5 bill for another $5 bill.Cryptocurrencies are fungible because they employ a blockchain, a digital public ledger of transactions.

NFTs are digital assets that may be purchased and traded using blockchain technology. They aren’t fungible, though. Thus they’re a different kind of asset. Some have sold for millions of dollars, including an NFT by digital artist Beeple that sold for $69.3 million at Christie’s in March. Some of the most prized NFTs, such as the Bored Ape Yacht Club, are distributed as collections of hundreds of distinct individual cartoons.

Their owners are regarded as inherently cool, who take pride in flaunting their acquisitions by using them as social media avatars. However, the tokens aren’t always images: you can buy virtual land in NFT form on various websites, like Decentraland and The Sandbox.

According to critics, investors are wasting money on useless objects, but others argue that NFTs are much more than digital toys. Some believe that using the blockchain to record an item’s ownership history will become much more common in the future, revolutionizing how we think about property.

In 2021, non-fungible tokens were used to launch digital artifacts by several Bollywood and sports personalities (NFT). This year, many Indian celebrities joined the NFT club, seeking to profit handsomely from the increased interest in such assets.

Amitabh Bachchan, a prominent Bollywood star, was perhaps the first to hop on the NFT bandwagon. Bachchan sold his NFT collection for Rs 7.18 crore in November. His father’s famous poem “Madhushala” and autographed old posters of himself and other works were featured in the collectible collection.

According to the bidding website Beyondlifeclub, Bachchan’s Madhushala poem recital went for $7,56,000, and real posters of Sholay and other films that he autographed went for $94,052.

Manish Malhotra, one of the country’s leading fashion designers, recently sold NFTs of digital designs of some of his most well-known masterpieces for $4,000 each. His bridal wear outfits are available for purchase at a reduced price range of $2,500-$3,500 on his website.

Yuvraj Singh is an Indian cricketer. Yuvraj Singh, a former cricketer, announced his entry into the NFT space on his 40th birthday, December 12. With the collection, the World Cup-winning former India all-rounder said he’s giving his supporters “a tremendous present.” On December 25, the Yuvraj Singh NFT collection will be released on the NFT platform Colexion.

However, it is not clear if NFT is legitimate or not. It may be a scam or may not, and time will tell what it is exactly.
