In Kerala, Lawyer Flees From Court.

When the entire country is facing the pandemic crisis, and other issues, the lawyer from Kerala was practising with fake documents in a shocking incident. The lawyer named Cessy Xavier practised in the court for two and a half years with counterfeit certificates.
She had also contested in the Bar Association Election and had won with an excellent margin. After winning, she was given in charge of the association library, where she misused her power by taking many rare documents from the library. Cessy Xaver had told her colleagues that she has done her law graduation from Thiruvananthapuram but discontinued, and later she completed in Bangalore.
The incident came into light when an anonymous letter came to the Bar association asking to verify the certificates of the degree, resulting in filing a police complaint. When the police reached the court for further investigation, Cessy flees away from the back door of the court. A case is registered under IPC 417 and 419, a non-bailable offence, and she fled from the court.
After the reports were out, she was expelled from the association. As per the complaint, she worked with the Alappuzha Bar Association and was given membership in the council. She allegedly provided a roll number and an advocate based in Thiruvananthapuram and fake certificates to get the membership into the Bar counsel.
In the recent statement released by police, they said her documents when applying for the membership were missing from the association. Officials said that they suspected she had either destroyed or taken away the certificates and other documents before going into hiding after the controversy erupted. The police will not be able to trace anything from the investigation. The police have taken the matter very seriously and started a thorough check on their research with the case.
