Challenges faced by Kerala during Covid

The corona map of India plateaued last months Mayor June. But Kerala has a lot of cases. The state hailed for its efficient plans to combat the 2nd wave of coronavirus. Kerala has a large number of corona cases, such as 3.3 million. There are more than twenty thousand cases each day. It is approximately for half of the Cases 410953 in the country. People hope this condition would improve after the state is vaccinated. Its TPR (Test positivity rate) also stays high at 13%. More so, active cases increase to 1,67380.

Despite this, BJP credited the point to curbs relaxation throughout Eid. But the authority of Kerala has blamed increasing corona cases on shortage of vaccines. There has been no bed or oxygen shortage. The system of wellbeing is still overstressing in Kerala. So it may make the condition worse. So through this both indeed claims, it also appears that the situation of Kerala is not well. It is complicated entirely. So state authority and centre to put their heads jointly.

Kerala has a higher population density. So the state has an increased number of diseases. For example- diabetes has made its conflict with covid more challenging. There is a lower testing rate in Kerala. So it is reasonable to slow the fight against covid.

The centre would send yet other experts to Kerala. A team of the centre has visited Kerala. The sources told that the secretary of health has written to the authority. They correspond to express issues over containment measures to be followed. A team had expressed satisfaction over measures followed by Kerala. But, there is no interval in the corona case accounted after that. Authority should strategize the delivery of the vaccine to affected regions in Kerala.
