The First Indian-American NYS senator, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Committee, Senator Kevin Thomas, visited Kerala CM and discussed improvising Kerala’s Information Technology sectors, Health, and Tourism (15.02.2013).
Senator Kevin Thomas, non-resident Keralites affair (NORKA), NORKA CEO Harikrishnan Namboothri, Principal Secretary, and other officials took part in the gathering.
Kevin Thomas is an attorney and politician from New York. Born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He immigrated to the U.S. as a ten-year-old. Before the post as a senator, he worked as an attorney. He completed his degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He dwells with his family in Levittown.
Elated with the senator’s visit to Kerala CM, Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan on his Twitter handle said he had a fruitful interaction with New York Senator Kevin Thomas and he has wholeheartedly extended his support to the development of the IT sector, tourism, and health in Kerala, further added he agreed to create opportunities for the IT firm from The U.S. to invest in Kerala.
