Kerala Teacher Who Violently Raped a First-Grade Girl, A moral science instructor was sentenced to 29 years in prison for sexually assaulting a first-grade girl student. Non-payment of the fine will result in an additional 2 years and 9 months in prison.

Abdul Rafeek, 44, of Karadan House in Cheerakuzhy in Nilambur, was also fined Rs 2.15 lakh by Specialist POSCO Fast-Track Court Judge M P Shibu, who was working at a private school in Puthumanassery in Pavaratty.

In 2012, a terrifying occurrence occurred on a school outing. The victim was found traumatized and physically weak after returning from the trip. The mother, who was aware of the situation, drove her to the hospital.

Her internal organs had been gravely wounded and she had been sexually abused, according to the medical test. The relatives then went to the cops, which led to the case. After an investigation, Pavaratty police inspectors MK Ramesh and A Faizal filed a charge sheet in the case. Importantly, some of the witnesses, who were professors, were antagonistic during the judicial proceedings.

The testimony of 20 witnesses and the presentation of 12 papers and scientific evidence, on the other hand, proved important. KS Binoy, a special public prosecutor, represented the prosecution.

The court also stated that sexual assault is a serious offense against the entire society, not just an individual. Sexual assault is a terrifying and humiliating experience for individuals who have been victimized. Minors’ mental health is even harmed as a result of such crimes. The court said that the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO Act) was enacted because of the law’s far-reaching implications.
