Aside from facilitating online land tax payment, the public would be informed about tax facts by SMS once a year. Tax receipts can also be retrieved from the internet. Queuing at village offices to pay land tax happens to be about to become obsolete. The Revenue Department has developed a mobile app for making online payments.

According to Revenue Minister K. Rajan, the e-payment function is one of seven digital services.

The Chief Minister will also establish a digital service. It will allow people to apply for and download the field measurement sketch ‘thandaper’ account and location map online. The agency is also launching an online module for filing land conversion applications. 

The Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will also introduce websites for all village offices. This is a module for disbursing social security pensions online.

Pattaya mela

On September 14, Mr. Vijayan will inaugurate the pattaya melas at the state, district, and taluk levels. The melas will take place in all the centers of 14 districts and 77 taluks simultaneously. According to the department, 13,500 pattayams happen to be ready for distribution.
