Latest Updates on Kerala Lockdown.

As the number of Covid Cases hitting the peak in Kerala State, The Government decides to extend the Lockdown restrictions in Kerala state by Today,7 July. There are many latest updates on Lockdown, such as follows: 

  •  These restrictions were supposed to extend for one more week from Today with the triple local bodies with TPR ( Total Positive Rates) more than 15%. As per the resources, there will be Tripple Lockdown in 175 Local bodies of Kerala. 
  • Areas with TPRs less than five are classified as category A, areas with TPRs 5 to 10 are classified as category B, and areas with TPRs 10 to 15 are classified as category C. Areas having a TPR of more than 15 will be classified as category D. 
  • According to recent government directives, Government offices in the A and B categories will be fully manned, while government offices in the C category will be half-staffed. 
  • The conference resolved to enable restaurants and motels in A and B to operate in areas where they may provide home delivery and takeaway until 9:30 p.m. Indoor activities and gyms that do not require close physical contact can function without air conditioning. It should be done in a well-ventilated hall or open space. At any given moment, no more than 20 individuals are permitted. 
  • The COVID review conference also resolved to allow lodging in tourist locations by the Union Ministry of Health’s standard operating procedures and the Ministry of Tourism’s recommendations.  
  • Admission is only available to individuals who have been vaccinated and have an RTPCR certificate. 
  • According to the Chief Minister, temporary employees should not be terminated at this time, and all sectors should carefully enforce this rule.  
  • The Chief Minister directs the Medical Education Department to intervene and establish an inspection mechanism to guarantee that the medical institutions remain operational and that the food outlets comply with Covid requirements.
