Revolutionary Lion
Revolutionary Lion Che Guevara, It’s been 55 years since that revolutionary lion was assassinated! Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, popularly known as Revolutionary Lion Che Guevara, was born on June 14, 1928, in Rosario, Argentina. He was assassinated in La Higuera, Bolivia, on October 9, 1967. Guerrilla warfare tactician and philosopher; key communist figure in the Cuban Revolution (1956–59); and South American guerrilla leader. He was/is as a martyred hero by generations of lefties around the world after his execution by the Bolivian army. His image became a symbol of anti-imperialism and leftist radicalism.
Guevara travelled to Guatemala in 1953, where he met Jacobo Arbenz. He switched to Marxism and believed that the US would always resist progressive leftist governments. This became the foundation of his plans for a global revolution to bring out socialism.
Especially He joined the Cuban revolution of 1959-1962 as a doctor. Although the rebels gradually grew stronger, capturing weaponry from Batista’s army. Moreover He became one of Fidel Castro’s most trusted aides and a key figure in the Cuban Revolution.

Moreover In the West, he became well-known for his criticism of all types of imperialism and capitalist exploitation. His criticisms of US foreign policy have become world-wide popular. He was the director of the National Institute of Agrarian Reform’s Industrial Department and the minister of industry. When he signed the new Cuban currency, he simply signed “Che” because he condemned capitalism.
In the unstable 1960s, his romanticised image loomed especially significantly for young communist radicals. Che was stunning in a photo taken by Alberto Korda on March 5, 1960, at a memorial ceremony. Moreover US military captured him on October 8, 1967, by Bolivian forces. Us military executed him the next day.
