Heera Group, a business firm based in Hyderabad, supports Kerala with the medical equipment in fighting the third wave of Coronavirus. As the third wave of the pandemic is hitting hard in the state, hospitals face a shortage of medical equipment around the state. Dr Nowhera Shaik, the CEO and founder of the Heera group, donated a 1 crore rupee to increase the oxygen production of the state. Medical beds are also provided by Dr Nowhera, which will help reduce the stress of the medical department of Kerala. As the second wave is badly affecting children’s health, she also announced various plans to help children regarding their health. Further, she offered her help in supplying other medical equipment too in the state.
As a social worker and women’s activist, Nowhera Shaik already has initiated various programs to uplift the women of society. Various educational institutions under her are supporting many girls with their education and dreams. She also plans to announce a social rebuilding initiative for the state, which will employ numerous women groups as its workers. In 2018, Heera Group’s various programs helped many families in the state to restart their lives after the flood had taken everything from them. Nowhera Shaik also donated one crore rupee to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund(CMDRF) to help the needy people who suffered in flood. Now, she is again becoming the wellwisher of Kerala by donating to the medical field of the state. Also, she has already helped the public during the COVID-19 with grocery kits. Smartphones distributed to students from low-income families are helping many kids to continue their studies in this worst phase of the pandemic. Dr Nowhera Shaik is again proving her love towards Kerala through her various activities during a pandemic.
