Actress Yuvika Chaudhary Gets Interim Bail After Having Charges Of Making Casteist Remarks

Yuvika Chaudhary, a Bollywood actress, was arrested on Monday for reportedly making insulting remarks against Scheduled Castes on social media. Furthermore, the actress has charges under the SC/ST Act. Later, the Punjab and Haryana High Court granted her interim bail.

Where did this all start? 

Yuvika started the whole thing when she posted a video of herself and her husband, Prince Narula, along with a handful of the couple’s cosmetic artists and employees. In the social media post, she says, “Hamesha jab bhi main vlog banati hoon, main kyun hamesha bh**giyon ke tarah aake khadi ho jati hoon.” 

Especially The complainant, Rajat Kalsan, filed a case against Yuvika Chaudhary under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Atrocities Act. The complaint is now in the Hansi police station of Haryana. Kalsan claimed in his complaint that in the video, the actress made certain disparaging and unpleasant remarks. It was done towards the Scheduled Caste community. Moreover Yuvika apologized on Twitter after her video went popular on social media. The video prompted outrage, saying she didn’t know the meaning of the word.

Moreover She had tweeted, “Hi guys, I didn’t actually know the meaning of that word that I used in my recent video. I didn’t mean to embarrass anyone and I can never do that to hurt anyone. I’m sorry to each and everyone. I hope you understand. Love you all.””Baby jo hua galti se hua, don’t worry, main apke sath hoon or aapne maafi bhi maang le hai. So, I love you. ” Yuvika’s husband, Prince Narula, tweeted in support of her. 

Although Yuvika Chaudhary’s lawyer, Ashok Bishnoi reported, “My client has joined the inquiry as per the High Court’s instructions. She is currently on interim bail in a matter of alleged derogatory remarks. She said this against Scheduled Castes on a social networking site.”
